Cardigan Skatepark

Cardigan skatepark is medium sized, concrete skatepark that can be found next to the school and is primarily a transitions based park.

The skatepark starts on one side with a bowled edges that is hipped with two more quarter pipes that open up onto the main skateable area. Following on from this is a jump box and next to this is a pyramid with hubba and the run then finishes with a long quarter pipe for a return ramp. Spined with this is then a figure-8 bowl with two differing heights and metal coping.

Cardigan skatepark is a good local park, however the surfaces here are a strange concrete/stone mix that makes for a rough ride. Although this is the case the obstacles are well sized and spaced out making it a good place to come and practise the basics.
