Sauchie Skatepark

Sauchie skatepark is an all concrete park that can be found on the playing fields and is primarily a transitions based park.

The skatepark starts on one side with a open sided bowl that doubles as a mini ramp, the back side of which is spined with another quarter pipe that starts the main body of the course. Either side of the spine is also a roll over and coming off the top platform is a flat bank with a rail. Following on from this is an unusual obstacle that is a driveway with three different shaped hubbas, a pointed one, flat topped one and a round topped one, and adjoined to the side of this is a whippy quarter pipe. The course is then finished off with a long roll in that acts as a return ramp.

Sauchie skatepark is a great local park, especially if you are a transitions skater. The selection of obstacles here is good and the surfaces are smooth making it a great place for beginners and experienced skaters alike.
